Welcome to the Atomedic Foundation
We are dedicated to promoting the principles and vision developed by the founders of the Atomedic Hospital, the official hospital of the 1964 World’s Fair in New York, to create a fully operational local healthcare facility from the ground up:
- That could be constructed in months not years
- Could be easily configured to meet the specific healthcare needs of the local community
- Would cost a fraction of building and operating a traditional hospital
- Sets new standards in healthcare efficiency while reducing Hospital Acquired Infections
- Would provide affordable, first-class healthcare to the community
The Atomedic Foundation will work with the School of Nursing at Auburn University through funding, research and curriculum enhancements to teach Atomedic healthcare principals. I am convinced that the Atomedic principles and standards, coupled with Auburn University School of Nursing, provide the answers to improving healthcare while reducing the costs of providing treatment to patients in local communities.
